errand boy. that's his title now. that's not how it's phrased or what it's been claimed, but he can't help feeling like he's useless. given menial tasks for a man that, what, felt bad for him? 

and with no one left to stick his middle finger to, what's he going to do? 

grumble about it on the mountain pass by mt. pyre apparently. phae walks ahead, pecking at grubs in the ground. huginn and muninn loop through the tree branches nearby, nipping at each other's tails. they certainly don't mind these hikes of his. 

he rolls his shoulders and sighs.

He had been hanging around route 123 looking for some dark types. He had been collecting a lot of grass and fairy types as of late thanks to the surplus of time he had been spending in the tree of life.[break][break]

He thought back to the first time he met @adrian, the two of them acquittances, but it seemed like fate kept their paths crossing over and over, in rocket, in the tree, now tied by the deities they serve. [break][break]

He pulled out a cigarette as a new stranger approached him, Bryan raising an eyebrow at them but not saying much as well, this was a path to get to another area in Hoenn.. However, the pokemon who were watching them had other things in mind as they slowly approached the pair.

he has a cross-body bag hanging off his side, housing documents he's meant to deliver in person. don't they have services for that? or, better yet, email? his hands fiddle with the flap, double/triple-checking that everything is still in order and he hasn't messed up. 

there's a snick from a match. fenris looks up just as stymphalia does and it's almost comical the way they both tilt their heads ever so slightly at the man standing off to the side of the route.

when her trainer doesn't see fit to give any commands, stymphalia simply resumes her hunting for snacks. the twin ravens do, however, nestle on some tree branches above them, peering down as silent watchers should fenris need help. 

"don't mind them. they're a little on edge," he says with a wave. he slows. "mind if i bum one off ya?"
